This clear ashtray comes from the Las Vegas Club.
The Las Vegas Club opened in downtown Las Vegas in 1930, just before Nevada legalized open casino gambling in 1931. Located on Fremont Street, it became one of the city’s early gambling establishments, offering card games and other diversions as the downtown district grew into the heart of Las Vegas nightlife. In 1949, the club moved across the street to the former Overland Hotel, where it continued operating for decades.
